Missionary Residential Housing

The mission of Prospect Valley Hospitality is to provide Inter-denominational Colorado missionary housing so that missionaries can enjoy a supportive, loving, comfortable residence for a nominal fee or free of charge.

Accommodations are available to qualifying missionaries and full-time Christian non-profit employees. Overseas missionaries receive priority with the goal of serving Christian missionaries visiting Colorado for the purpose of raising support, sabbatical, reporting to local churches, training, or, other ministry needs.

Upstairs Riverview Apt. Missionary Residence (furnished)

Charming 1872 historic 1 bedroom/ 1 bathroom 610 square foot, non-smoking apartment. Furnished vintage mid-century modern with a cozy faux fireplace that keeps the unit warm in Winter.

Includes WiFi and internet access. Stack washer and dryer in a small, full kitchen. The deck at entry offers a beautiful view of the river, mountains, and communal gardens.

A small fenced garden is shared with the owner’s main house below. This small, semi-private garden includes a dog run at the base of the uncovered entrance stairs. Off-street parking. Quiet pet friendly. This is a non-smoking residence.

Studio Missionary Residence Overview

Lovingly fully furnished with an antique-feeling interior, this studio apartment built in 1911 has the ambiance of a historic bed and breakfast. Missionaries from all over the world have enjoyed the quaint atmosphere of the studio.

The missionary housing, with off-street parking, is attached to the main house originally constructed in 1872. The 438 square foot studio unit features a queen-sized bed and a twin bunk bed (stacked beds). Available for a one to six-month stay, the studio will accommodate one to five people. The unit is equipped with a 3/4 kitchenette so that guests can enjoy all the necessary amenities: refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, crockpot, hot plate and, more. These comforts enable visitors to save costs on food during their visits and have preferred meals on hand.

There is plenty of space for office work with WIFI and internet access, desk and table. A TV with plenty of DVD options promotes relaxation time. The full bathroom and shower complete the accommodations.

The private, lush Prayer and Reflection Garden reserved for missionary use features pathways and a patio with plenty of seating so that guests can enjoy quiet time to the sound of the river.

The property is located in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The convenient location is 16 minutes from downtown Denver and 29 minutes from the Denver International Airport.

Visitors staying at the missionary housing may also enjoy the main communal gardens on the PVH property which includes the Prayer Chapel, gas grill, picnic tables, gazebo, and pond. PVH residents and visiting missionaries may enjoy the quiet solitude of the cozy Prayer Chapel.
